Joe enjoyed a fantastic career in which he scored goals for fun for Morton, Aberdeen, Everton and Hibernian before returning to regain his allegiance with the Pittodrie faithful.
The role of Honorary President at any amateur club does not encroach on the persons time in any way and in reality is a totally non committal role. That said it is much appreciated that Joe has allowed us to use his name and who knows if the wee man can get himself fit then the Webster Laing partnership in our attack may well come under threat before the end of the season.
